We provide these services through our Adult Literacy Program, Employment and Training Services, Legal Immigrant Services and the Astoria Literacy Zone.

Astoria Literacy Zone
The overall vision of the Astoria Literacy Zone is to provide a systematic focus in the community to increase the literacy of individuals and families from pre-kindergarten through postsecondary and in adult literacy services.

With the help of our community partners we address the needs of our participants with opportunities to access a range of educational and supportive services.

Our site located at the HANAC Community Center, 23-16 30th Avenue, Astoria, has access to computers for conducting research, creating a resume and applying for employment. We provide case management services to identify individual and family needs. Our staff ensures proper referrals to resources and linkages to organizational partners that can best service clients.
